Infanta Cristina Wedding Cake
The red stuff is berries. On top of the cake, instead of the classic groom and bride, it was placed a replica of the Palace of Pedralbes (where the reception took place) made in white chocolate. The red round thing that we see in each of the four levels are the arms of the Spanish Royal House, also made in coloured chocolate. The cake was made by 13 people, under the orders of Oriol Mardem.
This large wedding cake however was just for decoration and to be cut by the couple. To each of the guests it was served a small individual replica.
