Adebiyi Adegboye Adesida Afunbiowo II
Adebiyi Adegboye Adesida Afunbiowo II (born 1950) was chosen as the traditional ruler, or Deji, of the Akure Kingdom, based in the city of Akure in Ondo State, Nigeria on 13 August 2010. State governor Olusegun Mimiko presented him with the staff of office.
The Deji, who is married to Dr. Mojisola Adesida, Director-General of the Nigeria Stored Products Research Institute, NSPRI, Ilorin, Kwara State, enjoys travelling and playing table tennis. He is blessed with four children, all based in the USA.
