HM King Letsie III
HM King LETSIE III , 2nd King of Lesotho 1990/1995 and 1996/- born 17th July 1963, educated at Iketsetseng Private School in Maseru 1968/1972, Gilling Castle (UK) 1973/1976, Ampleforth College 1977/1980, National University of Lesotho 1980/1984, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Law, University of Bristol (UK) 1984/1986, completing a Diploma in English Legal Studies, University of Cambridge studying Development Studies, in 1989, Wye College of the University of London, studying Agricultural Economics. He was installed as the Principal Chief of Matsieng on 16th December 1989. He was sworn in as King on 12th November 1990, abdicating on 25th January 1995, the day on which HM King Moshoeshoe 11 was reinstated. He was reinstalled as King on 7th February 1996, being crowned 31st October 1997 in Maseru.

He married 18th February 2000 in Maseru, HM Queen ‘masenate Mohato Seeiso [née Miss Karabo Anna Motš'oeneng], born 2nd June 1976 at Mapoteng, Berea District, eldest daughter of Mr. Thekiso and Mrs. Makarabo Motš’oeneng of Leribe, and has issue.
- HRH Princess Senate Mary Mohato Seeiso, born 7th October 2001 at Maseru Private Hospital, christened 10th November 2001 at Matsieng.
- HRH Princess ‘maseeiso Mohato Seeiso, born 20th November 2004.
- HRH Prince Lerotholi Mohato Bereng Seeiso, born 18th April 2007, baptized on 2nd June 2007 at Matsieng, with the name of David, godson of Chief Lerotholi Seeiso, Principal Chief of Likhoele.
